We only act as a broker in deals between yourself and the speakers. As a result, we do not charge you a fee – we charge the speaker a commission for securing the booking.
Whilst most speakers and comedians work to a set fee structure, there are so many variables with events that make it impossible to quote exact fees on this website.
An event taking place 5 miles from home as opposed to 200 miles is obviously more appealing to an entertainer. Equally, if the event takes place on a less popular part of the week, that has an effect. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays are the busiest times for dinner functions, hence deals can be done on other days of the week.
Where possible we will always try to get an charitable rate for such events. Similarly, a luncheon that works logistically with an evening booking will also help the price.
As a result, the fees we quote really should be taken as a guide only and are only indicative of what you could be expected to pay thereabouts.
With regards to comedians, this is equally variable. General fees tend to start at £300 (based on a “prime” night rate as above, however the most in demand comedians charge between £400 and £600 on average. Of those highlighted on the comedians page, you can expect to pay between £400 and £1000 typically. Please send your enquiry through with as much information as possible and we will provide an accurate price.
Comperes or hosts are often an after thought, but are invaluable to the success of your event, particularly if the aim is to raise as much money as possible on the evening. Typical costs are between £250 and £500 but please talk to us to understand the benefits they can bring to any event, in both their ability to raise money and their skills in ensuring the evening runs without a hitch.
